We only ship within the UK and all orders outside of the UK will be canceled without prior notice
Payments and cancellations
We accept payments via credit/debit cards and PayPal.
Please note that orders can only be canceled before the items have been dispatched.
Refunds for canceled orders are processed via the payment method in which it was received. PayPal payments will return within 1 day, and credit/debit card payment may take 3-10 working days to return to the account from which it was paid.

All prices on the site are listed including VAT at the rate of 20% on applicable products
Dispatch times
We aim to all orders within 48 working hours of purchase.
We dispatch orders on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays.
We currently do not offer same-day dispatch.
There are no collections by our couriers on Saturdays and Sundays.
At busy times it may take us longer to dispatch your order
Terms and conditions of sale/purchase (UK ONLY)
By purchasing anything from our site you agree with our terms and conditions and that you are over 18 years old.
When purchasing live items you must inform us of any concerns within 24 hours of delivery. In the highly unlikely event that your item arrives DOA ( dead on arrival ), you must inform us on the same day of delivery.
We will then send you a free 24 tracked returns label via email, If you have no access to a printer, we then shall send this to you via first-class post, so please advise us which service you require.
You must return all of the original packaging and transport boxes in which the dead item arrived, so please don't dispose of this straight away.
For DOA we do not accept photos. We do not offer replacements or refunds without receiving the deceased item back.
We will only offer a full refund including any shipping cost only if the DOA is reported on the same day of delivery. If for some reason you inform us after 24hrs but within 48 hours of arrival, we will only refund the cost of the actual item and no shipping costs will be refunded. This is upon us receiving the deceased item back to us using our free returns service as mentioned above.
All live items are shipped, tracked and recorded and we will have the information of the actual date, GPS location and time of delivery.
Shipping costs are strictly only refunded in the unlikely event of a DOA and for no other reason.
By purchasing wild-caught invertebrates (WC), they may have mild marks on their shells or scars on their bodies. We only supply wild-caught invertebrates after we deem them healthy and happy.
It is your responsibility to collect or rearrange without delay any missed parcels or post. You will always get a tracking number so that you can manage your shipping easily. You will always receive an email from the actual shipping carrier advising an ETA of your order. It is your responsibility to provide your correct email address to receive these updates.
We have a record of all tracking numbers and can track it down to the minute so we know when you miss, receive or collect your item.
If you collect your live item more than 24 hours after a failed attempt of delivery, all guarantees and offers of refunds or replacements are void.
If your live item should die within 48 hours of delivery (delivered on the first delivery attempt) we will replace the item free of charge if we have a suitable replacement available. If a replacement is not available then we will issue a refund for the item, upon return of the deceased item as above.
After 48 hours, the conditions and environment that the live items are now living in are out of our control and so not our responsibility if they unfortunately die. We will guarantee your live item for up to 48hrs.
If any problems should arise after 48 hours of arrival we are more than willing to advise and assist where possible. At this point in time, we are not obliged to replace or refund any live item. However, we are a very friendly team and will always try to help! Any replacement after this point is at the discretion of bugznbits.co.uk. We WILL always ask for photos of your enclosure showing the heating layout, thermostat, and thermometer placement, thermometer readings and ventilation configurations. Without these photos, we will be unable to assist.
The enclosure photos should also always include the purchased live item in question.
This policy exists to ensure any replacement sent will not be subjected further to any incorrect care or conditions.
Please remember that your temperature and humidity readings should be that of which was advised by us, as this is the environment that your live item has been thriving in.
It is your responsibility to provide the correct care and attention to the live item purchased. Should the care be wrong and the item dies this is not our responsibility.
If your enclosure is not set up correctly and the item dies any replacement requested will incur the item price and also a shipping cost at your expense.
Dangerous Animals
We do not and will not supply any invertebrates that are on the DWA (dangerous wild animals) licensing act.
We expect all persons purchasing invertebrates such as spiders, scorpions and millipedes to be competent and understand that these invertebrates are venomous or can be toxic but not deadly to humans. Some people may experience adverse reactions to these types of invertebrates if bitten or stung.
It is your responsibility to know if you will have any negative reaction or allergy to these types of invertebrates.
We will not accept responsibility for any injury sustained from any invertebrate purchased from bugznbits.co.uk.
Any handling of a venomous invertebrate is the sole responsibility of the handler. Spiders and Scorpions can bite or sting!
